Java Errors in Domino Designer: cannot be resolved to a type

Problem: The "Problems" panel in the domino designer reports more than 70 Java errors, as shown below:




Solution:
Open the package explorer view and navigate to "WebContent \ WEB-INF \ lib".
Mark all libraries in the lib folder, right-click and select "Add to build path".
